The end

The end of digital business course. What a journey it has been, and who have we been honored to meet. Big thanks for Ilkka Kurkela, Anna Ikonen and digicoaches! Also Kyla Mitsunaga, thank you for coming in Finland and sharing your happiness!

The digiweek started on Tuesday when we had our last lecture held by Ilkka. After the lecture we helped Ilkka and Anna to develop this course into something more better. We wrote ideas what would we wanted to be different and what would be great in the future. I am sure they got good idea from us and next fall the course will be more crazier.

After that we made our last video. The task was to present some Project again on Friday. We first thought about Mazda or Nobot Oy as those were the project tasks we won. But an other team picked Mazda and Nobot Oy before us so we chose Superpark. It was a super fun task and we visited the park by ourselves. Also it was one of the first videos we ever made together.

On Friday we presented our videos for the last time. It was time to celebrate our journey. We didn´t maybe understand the assignment correctly because others showed their end results again as we showed a totally new video. What so ever here it is.

The main point of my last post is to answer to a question Ilkka gave us.

What did I learn about myself during this course?

At first I started to go throw my old posts to see and understand how much we actually have done during this course. Quite many tasks and mostly really pleasant. From every task I have learned something new or at least gotten better in an current skill.

But what I have learned about me. I am good at creating new ideas and trying new things. I am curious and get excited easily. Anything is possible if I have the will to do so. No limits can hold me back when I get into working mode. I am the most productive, when I have a clear timetable and I know about everything that might affect on the work I am doing. Well always it doesn´t go like this and I have to improvise but that ain´t a problem for me. The more things I have to do the more productive I am. For me it is actually harder to do just one thing at a time. This is why I have taken additional courses aside this course.

During this course I have become more braver and happier. As this course started our teachers and coaches had a huge hype about the coming spring. I didn´t know what to expect and what to believe. Sometimes when there is a huge hype I ain´t even interested about it anymore or at all. This is because in some cases when you need to hype it is a way to make sure you really believe in what is happening. I mean that the thing isn´t actually good but by hyping it, it gets a new diversional. In some cases when something is good there is no need for hype. Anyway I quickly understood that this course is the best. Also I had an other point about the hyping and being extremely excited and positive. It spreads easily. The truth is that little things matter. That is something I have started to pay attention during this course. By being positive, the people around you are more likely doing it too. Just a smile for someone makes you happy because you probably will get a smile back. So simple thing to do!

One thing what I have learned by writing a blog is that I am able to do it. I have always thought I suck at writing but now I have realised that maybe I have never had the right topic. Actually it is easier to write when you can add freely what you want, there is no precise content and the topic isn´t given for you but you can choose it. Okay, we kind of had a content you needed to follow and the topic was reflecting your learnings. So my point isn´t valid. HAHA, well this time this kind of writing worked for me. I even tried vlogging what was suprising from me. I know I wrote in my previous post I would try it again but unfortunately I wasn´t able to do it again. Maybe some day you will see me as a YouTube star, HAHA. One more thing about blogging is the fact that I have written everything in english. I have learned it doesn´t matter do I write in finnish or in english. That is a really good thing for me.

For now the end of blogging. While this is the end of something and the start of something new is right around the corner.

I wonder has anyone noticed my XO´s at the end of every post? I have watched the serie too often, its from Gossip Girl and I really had no other option but to use it in my posts.
