On Monday was the week´s first lecture held by Anna. As I told on my last week´s post I have german class on Mondays. So I wasn´t present on the first section of the lecture. The topic of the lecture was social media marketing and I would have wanted to hear about it. I`m irritated that I could be there.

But when I came to Otaniemi at lunch break I was told about our task to find an unsuccesful and a succesful advertisement campaign. After lunch we showed the whole class our chosen campaign. We, DigiESAt, chose a Coca-Cola advertisement. It had a slogan which was share the happiness. This happiness machine is great. I would want one to our school. Other groups showed their ones as well. I was suprised no one chose the same ad. If you want to see our chose ad, click the video.

Then on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we met with our group, DigiESAt. We had our SuperPark video editing task and Lacybox task. So those took a lot of energy and time. Long days at school. Though ones for me because the flu has been bothering me. But now i´m feeling better.

The making and editing of this SuperPark video was super fun. I am definitely interested in doing something similar again. Our ready video is down below. The best SuperPark video will be awarded. So please go and watch this video. We want to win!

We also were given a task to choose one quote and comment on that. So this is what I chose: When it gets difficult is often right before you succeed. I think this is a good reminder in life. Sometimes your whole life can feel ruff but if you just push through it life will get better. At least I believe so. Its your attitude that counts the most.

Our other task was to make for Lacybox a landing page and 3 posts to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. That went well and we got it done. We chose a red and black theme to our pictures. It was a little bit hard to pick the best pictures because there was so many of them. Also we had to consider that was the picture too naked for example to Instagram. If the picture is too naked it will be deleted. We thought about a slogan which could be this: Give her something you both enjoy. I learned about this task that it is super hard to think about these things. People are different and humor isn´t always the best to use because you cant be sure they understand it the same way you do. Also you have to have a clear target group. It makes it a bit easier. As an overall, this was a really nice task and I think the most one by far that I have learned of.

On Friyay we had our lecture where we showed to Lynn-Marie our Lacybox task results. Fantastic Five had the same kind of slogan, something both can enjoy. Every group had good ideas and I believe Lynn-Marie will use some of them. Hopefully also something from ours.

Oh, I almost forgot about the Periscope. Before our lecture I watched Ilkka and Jouni Varpelaide discussing about work community. Jouni comes from Nobot Oy which will be one of our co-operating company later. They talked about really interesting topics. I tried to write about them as I was listening but it was hard. So there is one thing that needs to develope in the app. If it will become more common in use of learning environment. Something that they talked about which I thought extremely important where these three thing; 1. If you don´t know how pretend 2. Sharing is caring 3. The best way to learn is to teach it to someone else. They are all so true. By pretending you can learn it by accident. I mean by this that if you pretend for a long time, you will actually learn it. Sharing is caring. You get better result if you share your ideas. You can be good at many things but not at everything. So a help from other isn´t a bad thing. The best way you learn is to teach it to others. I have used this method before and it really works. They talked also about this book Nobot has wrote. This book is something I could read. It would be good to give this as a task to us. Here is the name of it and a screenshot of the discussion.

So the last thing on Friday was to show our class the SuperPark videos. The group number 7 started and WOW. Their video was amazing. Such pro editing. Everyone had thought of different point of view to make the video. They were all good.
