Our Mondays lesson was held by our own teacher Anna Ikonen. She told about personal branding. An important topic for everyone. The question who are you is a really good one. It makes me question myself. What am I? Who am I? Am I the best version of me?

The things you post on the internet are public and stay there for ever. Your image can be negative because of your posts. But it can also create a better positive image of you. It is your choice. I personally pick the positive image. The appearance of your own name in the internet is nowadays almost impossible to avoid. So its definitely worth investing in personal branding.

Anna showed us a few websites which were interesting. Www.knowem.com is a website where you can find out in which different social media pages is your name used. I tried it and some of the pages I am using still showed that my name is not used. So I am not sure if it is realible. But still interesting to find out these kind of things. Then I learned that you can do a QR code about yourself. How cool! Althought I haven't done it yet. I believe those will come more popular in the future. Imagine going to a job interview and starting it by showing your QR code.
We got a task to do a elevator pitch. This task was awesome. I really enjoyed doing it. I am going to use my pitch as I apply jobs. So useful task! At first I thought it would be super hard to do a pitch. But now when it is done I can say it was so easy. I will recommend doing a pitch for everyone.
On Friday we had a quest speaker named Heini Karppinen from Mehackit. She told us about technology, digitalization, communications and other subjects related. She shared with us her own story. I really liked her presentation. She gave us a task. It was to think about future trends of learning/education/school. I think one trend is the fact that in the future will no longer be traditional paper sheets or tests. This change has already started as we use computer in every study module. In the future to do school tasks you will have to have a computer or a pad. You will have to carry it with you everywhere. It will no longer be optional. The other trend is video usage. Lectures will be shot and you can watch them again at home for example. Like Ilkka Kurkela has done with periscope for a few times during this course. This will become more common in every school starting in primary school. As the children there know how to use a mobile phone the change isn't a huge one. Only one thing can challenge it. Does every children have a mobile phone? Majority do. So this change will happen in less than five years.

Heini Karppinen had really good information. "Technology developes faster than people learn to use it." To give you a example. She showed us some videos of what technological invention have invented. They were cool and I would love to try them. One was a game where you put these glasses on and you played a game by moving inside a huge game area. "Why play the game when you can live it." The other one was a funny game or whatever you want to call it. It was called "Pay pre laugh". So basically you pay for everytime you laugh. Awesome invention because if you hate the movie you are watching you don't have to pay for it. You only lose your time. There was also different variations like you pay for every tear or for everytime you say WTF. I would be so bad in this game. I love laughing. I laugh a lot everyday. So for me expensive fun but probably totally worth it.
Then we had Kevins. They told us how you can make your own project as they have done. They made new websites for a company called AAVI Technologies and other marketing in social media. They got paid for it, good job! That made me think about the possiblities I could do. That was this week. I think this is the best course yet, so can't wait till Tuesday.
